Distinctions

Good groundcover for dry, well-drained soils; 3" to 4" high; smooth, leathery dark green leaves, paler below; pinkish-white urn-shaped flowers; fruit is dull reddish orange, mealy and tasteless; sun.

Limitations

Difficult to transplant from the wild, best to use container-grown nursery plants.
