Welcome to UAF Disability Services!

At UAF Disability Services, our goal is to provide UAF students with access to academic courses and opportunities, through an interactive accommodation process, and so support them throughout their academic journey.

We provide accommodations to students on the Fairbanks campus as well as on the Bristol Bay, Chukchi, Interior Alaska, Kuskokwim, Northwest, Community and Technical College (CTC), UAF eCampus, and College of Indigenous Studies (CIS) campuses.

Regardless if you are attending UAF community campuses in person, or via distance learning programs, please reach out to us via phone, email or drop by our office to request temporary and long-term accommodations. Students can request their approved accommodations each semester through AIM by clicking the Login button below.

We enjoy supporting individuality, promoting independence and celebrating graduations!

Please request your accommodations for the Spring semester!

At the start of every new semester all students receiving academic accommodations need to request their accommodations.

To request your accommodations for Spring 2026, the steps are as follows:

1. Go to the UAF Disability Services AIM, using the blue button at the top of this page,
2. Sign in using your UAF single sign-on information (Same one you use for UAonline or Canvas),
3. Near the center of the page, underneath "Accommodation Requests Spring 2026", click "Add requests for classes",
4. Select the classes for which you would like to receive your accommodations, then click "continue to next step",
5. Select the accommodations you'd like to receive and click "Submit Request."

After you do this, the next page should list the classes, the accommodation requested, along with "processing”. When you see this, your end of the process is complete, and an email will be sent to your instructors shortly thereafter.
