Convocation is today!

Please join me today at 1:15 p.m. in the Davis Concert Hall for 2022 Convocation. The annual event welcomes faculty, staff and students back to UAF for a new academic year each fall, and is a celebration of the university's people and accomplishments over the past year. Scavenger hunt prizes will be awarded, and t-shirts and ice cream will also be available at the event. Take some time to come out and celebrate with us!

Student Health and Counseling launches winter wellness program

The Student Health and Counseling Center (SHCC) wants to help students prepare for the upcoming winter so that they can enjoy their time in Fairbanks while avoiding the "winter blues." SHCC has come up with an eight-week preparedness program dedicated to helping students plan for the potential emotional and social hardships that can come with the colder and darker months. Beginning Sept. 30, students can stop by the Winter Wellness table in MBS every Friday from 12-2 p.m. to complete a Winter Wellness activity and enter to win prizes. Fun giveaways from community partners will be at the table each week as well.
