Today is Giving Tuesday – Give to United Way

If you haven't already given to United Way, Giving Tuesday is a great time. Giving Tuesday, established in 2012, is a movement that unleashes the power of "Radical Generosity" around the world. Radical Generosity is defined as the concept that the suffering of others should be as intolerable to us as our own suffering.


Compliance Alliance Tips and Facts: Accreditation

The Compliance Alliance committee was created in Fall 2021 to focus on the many compliance requirements at UAF. We would like to share the following compliance tip or fact with you this week. Questions about what constitutes a credit hour? There's a specific definition according to the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities and the U.S. Department of Education. Read about it here. The Compliance Alliance meets monthly to evaluate risks associated with compliance issues, identify university policies that need to be enhanced and analyze the effectiveness of compliance processes across campus.
