Scientists from the University of Alaska Fairbanks are presenting their work alongside
thousands of colleagues from around the world at the 2022 American Geophysical Union
fall meeting.
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2023 Chancellor's Cornerstone Award. The
award recognizes UAF staff members who have shown outstanding and ongoing commitment
to UAF's community and mission. Submit a nomination using the online form by Feb. 15, 2023.
The Compliance Alliance committee would like to share the following compliance tip
or fact with you this week. All employees of UAF are considered agents of the university and must follow the Financial Lenders Code of Conduct. We must provide impartial advice to in regards to private student loans. Financial
Aid has a searchable listing of private student loans available. Read more. Compliance Alliance meets monthly to evaluate risks associated with compliance issues,
identify university policies that need to be enhanced and analyze the effectiveness
of compliance processes across campus.
