What smart people predicted in 2006, during the first Arctic Report Card press conference,
is still trending the same way: We are living in a much-warmer far north.
The Compliance Alliance would like to share the following compliance tip or fact with
you this week. Planning a summer camp involving minors and want to use campus housing? You will need
to provide on-site adults that will be in charge of the minors staying in the halls. Learn more about the requirements for authorized adults and hosting a camp or conference with
minors. The Compliance Alliance meets monthly to evaluate risks associated with compliance
issues, identify university policies that need to be enhanced and analyze the effectiveness
of compliance processes across campus.
The UAF Alumni Association has awarded $20,000 to support student organizations and
campus projects. A $10,000 gift went to the Georgeson Botanical Garden, and a variety
of student groups received another $10,000.
