Inspiring Girls* Expeditions is inviting applications for summer 2023 tuition-free,

Geospatial data has become an interwoven sea of gleaned information with the power
to inform and predict many aspects of our daily lives, and one University of Alaska
Fairbanks professor is part of a team working on a catalog of community-sourced geospatial
datasets made available for use by the larger Google Earth Engine community and shared
publicly as Earth Engine assets.
Ed deCastro is the port captain at the Seward Marine Center. Ed regularly puts his
work before himself, often working weekends, holidays, and after-hours.
