The UAF Department of Music's Circumpolar Music Series continues this semester with a presentation by guest scholar, Maria Shaa Tláa Williams. The presentation, "Past, Present and Future of Alaska Native Music" will take place on Jan. 26 from 1-2 p.m. in the Davis Concert Hall. Williams will showcase characteristics and developments of Alaskan Native musics in the past, present, and future. This event is free, open to the public, and is the final event of the 2022-2023 Circumpolar Music Series!

University Community Mental Health accepting new clients

Graduate-level counseling students are accepting new clients for free 50-minute in-person and telehealth counseling sessions to occur once per week now through April 27, 2023. Clinic hours are Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Contact the clinic at 907-474-1999 or at uaf-cmhc-hipaa@alaska.edu.
