Late last year I chartered the Business Services Advisory Team. The purpose of the
BSAT is to bring customers together in a format with the service delivery areas to
receive and provide feedback to ensure that service and responsiveness are maintained
at high levels.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2023 Chancellor's Cornerstone Award. The
award recognizes UAF staff members who have shown outstanding and ongoing commitment
to UAF's community and mission. Submit a nomination using the online form by Feb. 15, 2023.
For over 30 years, the Geophysical Institute has hosted the Science for Alaska talk
series as one of its largest public outreach efforts. The series brings information
about current research to Alaskans from scientists with expertise across the state.
To kick off the 31st year of Science for Alaska, the Geophysical Institute invites
you to attend a new First Friday event from 5-7:30 p.m. on Feb. 3 at The Pub. Those who can’t join in person can tune in on KSUA student radio, 91.5
