Join us Feb. 4 for Research at the Rink

Be loud and research proud! Cheer alongside our research units on Saturday, Feb. 4 as the Alaska Nanooks hockey team takes on the Arizona State University Sun Devils. The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, with support from UAF Athletics, is celebrating all things research with our second annual "Research at the Rink" day! Join VCR Nettie La Belle-Hamer as she drops the puck at 7:07 p.m. at the Carlson Center.

To showcase the breadth and depth of UAF research the VCR Office has planned various events throughout the night and we hope you are there to help us celebrate!

Watch our VCR drop the puck! Cheer on research directors in a puck shootout, as they attempt to win their unit a pizza party. Root for Nanook fans as they try to answer research related trivia questions and show your UAF research spirit by cheering for your favorite research unit at the game! Wear your UAF gear, bring a sign to hold up (perhaps related to research or for our Alaska Nanooks), and be ready to cheer!
