More than 50 U.S. and international scientists are testing new ways of measuring snow
from above in Alaska through March, part of NASA's SnowEx program. During and after
the science campaign, a partner NASA-funded program, SnowEd, will engage students
and the public in exploring snow.
The College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences will host a seminar on Friday, March 24 from 3-4 p.m. at O’Neill 201 in Fairbanks and via Zoom, including
a showing in Juneau at Lena 101. featuring Molly Cain, associate director for research at Alaska Sea Grant. Cain will present “Linking dynamic connectivity and hydrological response.” Please register in advance.
