2023 Midnight Sun Science Symposium - Save the Date!

Registration for the 2023 Midnight Sun Science Symposium scheduled for April 13-14 in the Murie Building is open! This symposium, hosted by the Biology Graduate Student Association, is an interdisciplinary research conference that encourages the participation of University of Alaska undergraduate and graduate students of all scientific disciplines to showcase their scientific excellence, including those from UAA and UAS. The deadline for abstract submission is March 31 by 11:59 p.m.

Lavender Graduation

The Nanook Diversity and Action Center will be hosting the University of Alaska Fairbanks' Fifth Lavender Graduation to honor our students on Saturday, April 8 in the Wood Center Ballroom from noon to 2 p.m. The ceremony will be held both in-person and online to ensure as many students as possible are able to participate. UAF Summer Sessions offering ballroom dance class for couples

Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning presents an eight-session ballroom dance class taught by Daniel Ponickly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 4-27, from 7-8 p.m. at the SRC. The cost is $150 per couple - all couples welcome! Register to learn the steps and techniques of simple and fun lead-and-follow partner dancing with your partner or a friend!
