The National Student Employment Association designates one week each year for universities
and colleges across the country to recognize the substantial contributions of students
who work on campus. Student Employee Appreciation Week will be taking place this year from April 10-14. To help in recognizing your students, Career Services has teamed up with the Center
for Student Engagement to organize two different events to help celebrate our student

Join the Nanook Diversity and Action Center in celebrating black history month with
guest speaker, activist, advocate, and sex educator Ericka Hart provide a presentation
on "White Supremacy and the Anti Black Origins of Sexual Violence in the US." This
rescheduled event will be taking place via Zoom on April 12 from 1-3 p.m. Please register for the event here. If you are interested in watching the event with catering in Arctic Java, we will

Deadlines and reminders

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research is soliciting white papers for the
National Science Foundation's Building the Prototype Open Knowledge Network (Proto-OKN) Program. More information about the program and submission process. Submissions are due by April 14, 2023.
