Faculty makerspace ideation mixer Nov. 16

UAF faculty, staff and researchers from all disciplines are invited to an Ideation Studio mixer in the newly opened MIX/CTL Faculty Makerspace (131 Bunnell in the Center for Teaching and Learning). Register here by Nov. 13. Space is limited. The mixer will be held in the new faculty makerspace, which offers an array of equipment and materials, including 3D printers, art supplies, a sublimation printer, a vinyl cutter and more. Read for more information on the event.

Staff Council monthly meeting on Nov. 14

The Staff Council holds its monthly virtual meeting on the second Tuesday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Viewers can watch via the livestream link. More information about the Staff Council is available on the Staff Council website.


Information session: Learner Experience Advocacy Program

Learn how to get an insider perspective on your upcoming course. Reserve your seat and join us for a short Zoom session on Thursday, Nov. 16 from noon to 12:30 p.m. to learn about the Learner Experience Advocacy Program which pairs instructors with trained undergraduate students to provide high-quality feedback throughout the semester. Carothers recognized with AFN Denali Award

Courtney Carothers, a professor at UAF's College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences, has been honored with the 2023 Denali Award by the Alaska Federation of Natives. Learn more about Carothers' recognition at the 2023 AFN convention in Anchorage.


ANLC bookstore reopens
