UAF Chancellor Dan White will host his annual holiday gathering on Thursday, Dec. 7 from 4-6 p.m. in the UAF Wood Center. All employees are invited to celebrate the season together with food, beverages and live music. Second annual AGU poster session event

The Mather and Rasmuson libraries invite everyone presenting a poster at the AGU Fall Meeting to participate in a pre-conference poster session on Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 1–3 p.m. in Mather Library. Participants should bring their posters to Mather Library at 12:30 p.m. for set up. Those with digital posters are also encouraged to participate. The Large Animal Research Station will host the second LARS Science Series presentation Dec. 12 at 4 p.m. Olivia Hee will be speaking during this Zoom-only session. You must register in advance for this meeting! This presentation will focus on her collaboration with the Large Animal Research Station at UAF to evaluate two methods for pregnancy determination that can be done using samples from harvested muskoxen. Student Art Sale 

Students will be selling their work all afternoon on Friday, Dec. 8 from noon to 6 p.m. Stop by the printmaking, ceramics, metalsmithing, and painting studios in the Fine Arts Complex to shop for unique handmade work by UAF art students. Read more on the art sale.

KSUA nets six Goldies at Alaska Broadcasters Association event

A total of six "Goldie" awards were presented to Student Media's KSUA 91.5FM College Radio, the student-powered radio station of UAF's Center for Student Engagement.
