Practicing partnership: Co-production and boundary spanning in rural Alaska

Join a dialogue on Feb. 22 from 1-5 p.m. in-person in Akasofu 501 or virtually for rural campuses that brings together graduate students, staff, and faculty to discuss the nuts and bolts of implementing co-production and boundary-spanning frameworks in research. UA Foundation Scholarship selection deadline

The deadline for students to apply to the 2024-25 UA Foundation Scholarship is 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 15. Committees will be able to review applicants and select recipients via Kaleidoscope starting Feb. 23. Learn more about the scholarship.


LARS Science Speaker

Kimberlee Beckmen, M.S., D.V.M., Ph.D., wildlife health veterinarian with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game will talk Feb. 13 at 3:30 p.m. in Murie 104 about zoonotic diseases in interior Alaskan wildlife and affects they may have on human and pet health. This is a hybrid event, with an option to attend in person or online.

Remind students to apply for URSA's Summer 2024 Student Project Awards

URSA's Summer Student Project Award offers up to $6,000 for both individual and group applicants to use toward an undergraduate research or creative activity project in the summer 2024 term. Students from all UAF campuses and all disciplines are encouraged to apply! Applications accepted until Feb. 25 at 11:59 p.m. Read more info on this program to share with your students.
