Submit to Alaska INBRE summer 2024 Undergraduate Research Assistantship awards
The application process is open for the Alaska INBRE summer 2024 Undergraduate Research Assistantship awards.
Applicants must have been full-time undergraduate students in programs at a UA campus during the academic year 2023-24. Students who will graduate in spring 2024 are eligible to apply. Continuing students must be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Applicants are expected to have identified a supporting mentor and worked with their mentor to prepare their application.

The Alaska IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence is supported by a grant from the National Institutes of Health. The primary objective of the Alaska INBRE Undergraduate Research Assistantship initiative is to support undergraduate students engaged in biomedical and health science research with mentorship from UA faculty. Students funded through this program will gain valuable experience in designing, conducting and presenting research. This URA opportunity is for students enrolled at UAS, UAA or UAF. Preference will be given to Alaska Native students and students from other underrepresented groups as defined by NIH.
