Shine a Light Series

Join UAF’s Northwest Campus, the UAF Office of Rights, Compliance and Accountability, and the Nanook Diversity and Action Center for this month's Shine a Light Speaker Series event, Revitalization of Inuit Tattooing with Holly Nordlum on Tuesday, March 19 at noon. Nordlum will lead a discussion about Inuit tattooing and the revitalization and what we know about our ancestors including why and when and what that means in today’s world. Workshop training for StrongPeople class

A workshop sponsored by the University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service will train prospective community leaders in all aspects of leading StrongPeople/StrongBodies, an effective and safe resistance exercise program for midlife or older adults. Learn more about the class.


Call for abstracts open: KAMSS 2024

Kodiak Area Marine Science Symposium 2024 welcomes abstracts spanning a variety of marine science and related fields pertinent to our healthy coastal community. The submission deadline for abstracts is March 25.
