Faculty: Turn textbook selections in TODAY
UAF is rolling out a new textbook purchasing system for students, in collaboration
with our new bookstore vendor, Barnes & Noble. Students will have a charge each semester
to ensure their bundle of textbooks are guaranteed to be here for the first day of
classes. Faculty need to turn textbook selections in TODAY for timely ordering.
The International Arctic Research Center and the College of Rural and Community Development
will co-host their next virtual seminar series "A Place for Knowledge Exchange" on
April 18 at noon. April's conversation is with Courtney Carothers, Harmony Jade Sugaq

Join Alaska Center ICE and representatives from the United States Patent and Trademark
Office for Kelp and Coffee on Monday, April 22 from 9-10:15 a.m. in Murie 301. An
overview of patents and trademarks within the context of Alaska's mariculture industry
will be provided, as well as kelp, coffee, and a continental breakfast for those in
