Ph.D. awards available for prospective students through faculty mentors

The UAF R1 Working Group on Ph.D. Fellowships is pleased to announce an opportunity for faculty to apply for UAF Troth Yeddha' Ph.D. Financial Awards. TYPFAs will support a limited number of prospective Ph.D. students for fall 2025 and spring 2026. Awards can include coverage of tuition, fees, research assistantships and health insurance. Learn more about the opportunity and how to submit a potential Ph.D. student for consideration.

UAF offices closed for the winter break

Most offices at the University of Alaska Fairbanks will close for the winter break from Dec. 24, 2024, to Jan. 1, 2025. Some offices will also close or have reduced hours Dec. 16-23 and Jan. 2-3. Get more details on holiday closures around campus.
