Dear student,
Your safety and success are so important, and that’s why we’d like to remind you to complete the UA Safe Title IX training, if you haven’t already done so. If you have completed the UA Safe training since July 1, 2019, you do not need to complete the training again this academic year.
The training deadline is Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, to ensure priority registration for the spring semester. Students who have not completed the training by the deadline will have a temporary hold placed on their account until Nov. 25, 2019 (or until they have completed the training).
Title IX training is required for all certificate and degree students (associate to Ph.D. and certificates) and any student living on campus. The course takes about 30-45 minutes, and you can save your progress and return to complete it at a later time. Get started here.
To avoid technical issues, this training is optimized for Google Chrome. If you are having difficulties please try switching your browser to Chrome. If you are on the Fairbanks campus and need access to a computer, review this list of computer labs, otherwise contact your local campus to find public computers in your area.
If you have past experiences with trauma related to sex and gender-based discrimination and would prefer not to take the Title IX training, please submit an opt-out request.
