Dear student,

We hope all of you are settling into routines to the start of the spring semester! We would like to remind you to complete the UA Safe Title IX training.

You must complete the training by Thursday, March 26, 2020, to ensure priority registration for the fall 2020 semester, otherwise a hold will be placed on your account until April 20, 2020. If you completed the training during the fall 2019 semester, you do not need to do it again this semester.

Title IX training is required for all certificate and degree students (associate to Ph.D. and certificates) and any student living on campus. The course takes about 30-45 minutes, and you can save your progress and return to complete it at a later time. Get started here.

To avoid technical issues, this training is optimized for Google Chrome. If you are having difficulties please try switching your browser to Chrome. If you are on the Fairbanks campus and need access to a computer, review this list of computer labs, otherwise contact your local campus to find public computers in your area.

If you have past experiences with trauma related to sex and gender-based discrimination and would prefer not to take the Title IX training, please submit an opt-out request.

You’ll find more information about the Title IX training at these links:
