Chancellor's forum on strategic enrollment

UAF Chancellor Dan White will host an online strategic enrollment forum at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 31. Panelists will share progress on UAF's strategic enrollment efforts and projects in areas such as financial aid, recruitment, student programming and advising.


Conversations in graduate student mentoring

The Graduate School and the Faculty Development, Assessment and Improvement Committee of the Faculty Senate are hosting a graduate student mentoring workshop for faculty from 1-2:30 p.m. on April 5, via Zoom. Tiera Coston will lead the discussion, "Conversations in Mentorship."

The College of Liberal Arts Theatre and Film Department will present "Seminar," a comedy by Theresa Rebeck and directed by Tom Robenolt, in the Lee H. Salisbury Lab Theatre from March 25-April 10.

Festival of Native Arts to take place virtually March 25-26

The 49th annual Festival of Native Arts will be held Friday and Saturday, March 25-26, 2022. This year’s theme is “Culture, Land and Future.” All events are virtual and will be hosted via Zoom and Facebook live.


Campus vending machine updates

Aurora Vending is working to upgrade the vending machines at UAF. The machines, which are currently on an obsolete 3G network, are being installed with new card readers to update them to 4G.

Purchase regalia and invitations by March 24

Summer Sessions opened registration on Thursday, March 17, for 63 day camps as well as non-credit adult courses.

Reusable to-go boxes are back at Dine 49, Fuse and Campus Cache. Purchase a to-go box for $5 at any of these locations, return the box after use, receive a ticket, and ask for your meal in a reusable box.

Deadline for Research and Creative Activity Days submissions extended to March 27

The 2022 edition of URSA's Research and Creative Activity Days will be online from April 5-7. Undergraduates from all disciplines that wish to share their research and creative projects with the UAF community are invited.
