Student groups and campus organizations can apply for a grant of up to $1,000 from
the UAF Alumni Association. The funds will support projects that identify specific
needs and improve campus opportunities for current students. The application deadline
is Oct. 14. If you are a student or work with a student organization, you are invited
to make a request through the UAFAA Benefactor Fund form. Last year, UAFAA awarded more than $13,000 to 14 student organizations. Many of the
awards supported community and connectivity among students, as well as outreach.
A series of workshops is available both in-person and online for students to develop
and practice their presentation and story-telling skills for this year's competition.
