$1,000 grants available to student groups

Student groups and campus organizations can apply for a grant of up to $1,000 from the UAF Alumni Association. The funds will support projects that identify specific needs and improve campus opportunities for current students.

The application deadline is Oct. 14. If you are a student or work with a student organization, you are invited to make a request through the UAFAA Benefactor Fund form

Last year, UAFAA awarded more than $13,000 to 14 student organizations. Many of the awards supported community and connectivity among students, as well as outreach. The UAF Alumni Association has committed to supporting students each year with its small-grant program.

The UAFAA Benefactor Fund was established in 1998 to encourage alumni to participate in an annual giving program that directly supports students. So far in 2022, UAF alumni have donated more than $5,000 to the UAFAA Benefactor Fund.
