Festival of Native Arts to celebrate 50 years

The 50th Festival of Native Arts, Troth Yeddha' Forever: Our Ways of Life, will be held at the UAF Troth Yeddha' Campus Fine Arts Complex, Feb 22-24, 2024. Read more about this year's celebration.


Responsible Conduct of Research Training

Responsible Conduct of Research training will be offered in-person on Tuesday, Feb. 13 from 1-4:30 p.m. The training is brought to you by the Office of Research Integrity. UAFs RCR training is open to all UAF-, UAS- and Ilisagvik-affiliated individuals (faculty, graduate students, staff, and undergraduates). This training is a two-part training. Part one requires you to complete an online CITI Training module, and part two requires you to participate in RCR training. You must complete both parts to receive your RCR certificate. Email Carla McCain to sign up.

Center ICE supports two types of fellowships and both are recruiting for the summer and fall semesters. To learn more about both programs and apply, visit the RISE-UP website. Applications close Feb. 7.

Nominate 2024 student commencement speaker starting Feb. 1

ASUAF invites students, faculty and staff to nominate graduating students to be the student speaker at UAF's spring Commencement ceremony on May 4. Nominations are due Feb. 16. Learn more and submit nominations.


New dining location

UAF Dining Services and Chartwells have opened a new dining location on the UAF Troth Yeddha' Campus. CRAVE is a virtual food hall located in the Arctic Health Research Building, Room 187. It will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The virtual dining hall has a contactless ordering system. Guests order from CRAVE menus online only through the Transact Mobile Ordering App. Read more about the food options available.
