University of Alaska Fairbanks Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning is hosting more than 40 free lectures, concerts and events this summer. Summer Sessions is on hiatus during the week of July Fourth. Here’s what’s happening during the week of July 8-14.

Alaska Sea Grant to fund $1.2 million in new research

Alaska Sea Grant will fund six new research projects, with over $1.2 million supporting Alaska researchers and graduate students, during the next two years. Read more about the research projects.

Join UAF at the Golden Days parade

Employees, students and alumni — sign up to walk or ride with UAF in the 2024 Golden Days Grande Parade on Saturday, July 20. Line-up begins at 9 a.m., and the parade runs from 10 a.m. to noon. Families are welcome, and participants will get a free T-shirt to wear during the parade. Don't miss out on the fun! Get the link to sign up.
