Instructions for ProQuest
Once your thesis has been formatted and approved by your committee, department/program chair, and the dean of your school/college,
the next step is to complete the Electronic Thesis or Dissertation (ETD) Submittal Process via the ProQuest ETD Administrator website.
- Log into the ProQuest ETD Administrator website and create an account.
- For troubleshooting on ProQuest please see their FAQ's
- For troubleshooting on ProQuest please see their FAQ's
- Navigate through the checklist and answer all questions.
- Submit your thesis/dissertation as a .pdf copy, with embedded fonts.
- The Graduate School will then review all the theses and dissertation in the chronological
order they were submitted to us.
If you are on a tight schedule because of field work, a job, or travel, please ensure to submit your work early giving us time to review, and yourself time to complete the changes/corrections requested.
Please take note that 95% of the theses/dissertations we review require edits before being accepted for publishing and graduation. - Once you have completed the revisions required by the Graduate School, you will need to submit the final version of your thesis/dissertation through ProQuest one last time, again in a PDF format.
The Graduate School will then review it one last time to ensure the requested corrections have been made, and submit it for publication. - If you have additional questions about ProQuest, please call the Graduate School at 907-474-7464.
NOTES:
- A hard copy of your work for archiving at the Rasmuson Library is no longer required; however, your department might still ask you for one, so please check with them.
- If you choose to order printed and bound copies, you can either order them from ProQuest at the time of submission, or you can send them to another business for printing/binding. Payment for ProQuest copies is via credit card.
