Installation, repair and restoration of voice communication and telephone services.
Telecommunications includes the installation, repair and restoration of telephones, voice mail, related network/voice cabling, as well as other voice communication related services, such as call center functionality and voice menus.
Getting Started
To initiate an install, to move, make additions to or change an existing account submit the Work Order Request Form. To initiate telephone repair service, fill out the online Trouble Report Form.

Online Viewing/Printing of NTS Phone Bill
Departments can now view/print their OIT Telephone Services phone bill online. Please send your UA username to Vicki Wallner vlwallner@alaska.edu to gain access to the online phone billing system. After your UA credentials are entered into the system login here to view/print your phone bill using your UA username and password. Note: VPN Users must be logged into access billing.

Installation and repair service is available weekdays from 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, excluding university holidays.
For trouble with existing telephone accounts, contact NTS Telephone Services via the Trouble Report Form. For help after hours, contact the NTS Service Desk.
To schedule telephone installs, customers request general assistance via the Work Order Request Form.
For moves/additions/changes to existing telephones, customers request general assistance and report problems with this service through the Work Order Request Form.
