A new biomedical accelerator program is starting this spring at UAF.

Directed at biomedical students, post-docs, and faculty, the program will help researchers strengthen their grant proposals, meet new collaborators, explore new career paths and learn about intellectual property and commercialization.

The program includes a boot camp, coaching, a stipend, travel funds and preferred access to additional funding.

The total time commitment expected is 36 hours over four weeks.

This accelerator program is sponsored by the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps, Ascend Hub, and Alaska Center ICE.For more information contact Mark Billingsley at mcbillingsley@alaska.edu.
