Alaska Angel Conference Connects Innovators with Investors

A recent article in the Alaska Journal of Commerce highlighted the Alaska Angel Conference, organized this year with assistance from Alaska Center ICE.

In the article, Mark Billingsley says that although the opportunity to secure funding is a driver for many entrepreneurs to participate, the true value is in the education and the network.

“There’s an incredible amount of access in the conference,” Billingsley said. “If an entrepreneur wants to sit down with an investor, they’ll get that meeting. If they need help with something, they’ll get it. The mentorship opportunities alone — from people who are experts at building businesses — are immeasurable. There’s money at the end, but it’s more about growing your financial savvy for your business.”
