The Alaska Federal and State Technology Partnership (FAST), a free program sponsored by the Small Business Administration, was created to increase the number of America’s Seed Fund Small Business Innovation and Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) awards, and to foster innovation for women, socially/economically disadvantaged individuals, and small businesses in Alaska.

Last month, Center ICE’s Evelyn Jacome attended the Accelerate Alaska Conference, a unique opportunity to connect with entrepreneurs, ecosystem support organizations and state stakeholders, to share the exciting new FAST program.

“The conference provided a platform for the innovation ecosystem stakeholders, entrepreneurs and industry in Alaska — from energy to blue economy — to come together and discuss the work and areas of growth in the state. It's vital to engage and network with all our partners towards a common goal,” said Evelyn Jacome, Alaska FAST program director.
