New UAF Program will Help Co-develop Innovative, Interdisciplinary Projects

UAF faculty, staff, and researchers from all disciplines are invited to a Research Ideation Studio mixer 2–4 p.m. Thursday, April 13 in the UAF BP Design Theater, 401 Usibelli Bldg. The Ideation Studio is a new program designed to help researchers and scholars connect, spark innovative ideas, and co-develop new interdisciplinary projects geared toward problem-solving and generation of positive societal impacts.

ABEC, ACEP, and Center ICE Partner to Deepen Collaboration with Iceland

The Iceland Ocean Cluster (IOC) has worked closely with the state of Alaska for years. The Alaska Ocean Cluster, recently merged with the Alaska Fisheries Development Foundation, was one of the first sister clusters of IOC to be established outside of Iceland. In 2019, IOC and then-director of the Alaska Ocean Cluster Justin Sternberg signed a memorandum of understanding to expand their collaboration.
