IDEAs Awards Deadline is June 2023

The Innovative Disclosures and Entrepreneurial Activities (IDEAs) awards recognize entrepreneurial individuals who have developed innovative approaches to research, teaching, and service. The competition, started in 2015, is hosted by UAF's Center for Innovation, Commercialization, and Entrepreneurship (Center ICE). Any innovation developed by UAF or University of Alaska Southeast (UAS) faculty, staff, and students using university resources or as part of a class is eligible for the IDEAs awards. Selection criteria include commercial readiness, capacity to make an impact, strength of intellectual property, potential to scale, and capabilities of the lead innovator or innovative team. 

 

The deadline to disclose is by midnight Friday, June 30, 2023. Disclosures can be made online or by calling David Park at (907) 474-7177. Winners along with cash prizes will be announced in an awards ceremony in the fall of 2023.
