Eric Hartley Joins Center ICE

We welcome Eric Hartley as the new marketing and events coordinator. Eric will be focused on bringing Center ICE programming to more people here at UAF and managing events to better serve you. Eric will be driving participation through his marketing efforts. His experience in management as well as brand and business building will help Center ICE grow our local startup community.

Eric earned BAA and MBA degrees at UAF’s College of Business and Security Management. A Fairbanks local when he isn’t at work or in the workshop of his small batch manufacturing business, he can be found enjoying the Alaskan outdoors by camping or snowboarding, depending on the season. 

Eric is excited to bring his experience and passion for innovation to the Center ICE team. Having participated in multiple events and programs as an undergraduate, Eric said: “My time in the innovation ecosystem that Center ICE put together really changed the way I looked at business problems. I use it all the time, it was a truly life-changing experience.”
