Exactly what is a "hazardous chemical"?
To different people and to different regulatory agencies, the definition of a hazardous
chemical can vary greatly. The following spreadsheet (Excel) of hazardous chemicals was compiled by University of Alaska Fairbanks to facilitate
compliance with UAF policies and procedures that deal with hazardous chemicals. It
is a dynamic list that grows as new chemicals or chemicals new to UAF are introduced.
You are encouraged to check the list often for recent updates.
