Psychology Department Support

Your gifts create results we see everyday. As stewards of these valuable resources, we are striving to be worthy of investment. When you give to CLA in memory of a loved one, or simply because you care, your contribution is cherished and used to further that most human of endeavors — learning.

To donate to the Psychology Department, select "Other" from the drop-down menu and specify Psychology Department in the space provided.

Research

Your donation can be used specifically to fund student or faculty research at UAF.

Donations to the Richard G. Possenti Student Research Memorial Endowment support undergraduate students who are conducting research in the area of psychology at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The main priority of this fund is to ensure that students have the opportunity not only to conduct but also to present their research findings at a regional, state, national, or international conference.

Scholarship Support

Scholarships, Fellowships and student awards have an incredible impact on our Nanook Nation! We believe that enhanced student aid, through restricted or unrestricted gifts, helps retain the most talented of students.

Donations to the Arthur & Frances Buswell Scholarship provide scholarships for undergraduate psychology students.

Public Service & Community Outreach

Donations to the Clinical Community Psychology Program Support & Student Aid provide general support to the Clinical Community Psychology program, currently housed in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, in its core mission to create and train psychologists for the diverse mental health needs of the community.
