BIO

Erika Boice is a research assistant working on the Energy Transitions Team at ACEP. 

Boice earned her bachelor degree in economic development with a concentration in business and policy from Messiah University in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Boice grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania where her love for the outdoors and helping others began. Alaska made a big impression on her when first visited Alaska in 2008 on a family vacation. She moved to Alaska after college and started with seasonal work in Denali. She met her fiancé there and fell in love with dog mushing. 

In September 2022, she moved to Fairbanks, where she met Gwen Holdmann and got connected with ACEP.
