BIO

Rob Cermak joined ACEP in 2015 and is a Power Systems Integration programmer and control systems integrator at ACEP, working on general purpose computer and firmware.

Cermak previously worked for the former Arctic Region Supercomputing Center in Fairbanks, Alaska, as an information systems professional. Before moving to Alaska, he worked as a programmer in New Jersey for Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, while completing undergraduate and master of science degrees in meteorology.

Cermak enjoys the challenges of off-grid living, using a mix of solar, wind, diesel and gas power generation.
