The Rural Energy Program at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is hiring a mechanical engineer. The
engineer will join a dynamic team working in collaboration with Alaska Native communities
to develop and implement projects to reduce the cost of energy and make rural water

A Marine Energy Career Panel – featuring staff from the Pacific Northwest National
Laboratory and National Renewable Energy Laboratory — is hosting an event across various
disciplines (engineering, biology, science communications, etc.) to discuss their
marine energy careers. Panel members will share information about their background,
education, career path, and current projects. The program is Monday, April 10, 2023
at 2 p.m. AKDT. Registration is closed for the Marine Energy Career Panel.
The Southeast Conference is hiring an energy coordinator. This position will facilitate and develop Southeast
Alaska energy projects, including programs to reduce the region’s reliance on fossil
fuel for electrical generation, beneficial electrification with a special emphasis
on utilization of biomass, and coordinating the activities of the Alaska Wood Energy
Development Task Group. The successful applicant will be an independent, organized
self-starter, and familiar with community energy issues. Travel required. Salary is
