Sandia National Laboratories invites your organization to join the National Consortium for the Advancement of LDES, or Long Duration Energy Storage technologies. This national consortium will provide a forum to enable stakeholders across the LDES ecosystem to convene and identify barriers, determine potential synergies, and collaboratively develop and implement strategies necessary to achieve commercialization for a wide range of LDES technologies within the next decade. The output will be a comprehensive plan for LDES commercialization that can be offered to diverse states and regions, markets, communities, and end-use customers.

If funded through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Technology Commercialization Fund, this effort, which is expected to commence later this year, will be led by six national laboratories and will include a broad range of stakeholder organizations. If your organization has an interest in long-duration energy storage, we hope you will take the opportunity to engage in this National Consortium. Stakeholders will contribute to the creation of consensus-based organizing principles that will enable and streamline collaboration between public and private entities. By actively participating in this National Consortium, your organization will have a forum to offer a unique perspective on key issues related to LDES commercialization.
