What Alaska can learn from Iceland's Ring Grid

Iceland’s Ring Grid is around the same length and serves almost the same population as Alaska’s Railbelt grid. The big difference is that Iceland’s electricity is generated from almost 100% renewable energy.
A new video, “Energy Transitions — Lessons from Iceland,” created by ACEP’s chief storyteller Amanda Byrd, sheds some light on how Iceland achieved its enormous renewable portfolio and brought new value-added industry to the country that was once the poorest in Europe.
