University of Alaska Press
The University of Alaska Press publishes and distributes scholarly non-fiction that is related to Alaska, the North Pacific Rim and the circumpolar regions. Located on the UAF campus, the UA Press provides Alaska's statewide system of higher education and the Alaska public with a shared intellectual resource, and through presentations of the printing process, provides an educational resource for journalism students at UAF.
An editorial board of nine members has the final authority for books bearing the UA Press imprint, and each year new titles are released, new editions of out-of-print works are printed, and new printings of previously published, but still in print titles are printed.
