The following programs, which will be offered starting fall 2009 or spring 2010, were approved by the UA Board of Regents after the 2009-10 catalog was printed:

• Construction Management, graduate certificate (approved September 2009) offered by the College of Engineering and Mines.
• Environmental Studies, certificate (approved September 2009) offered by the College of Rural and Community Development, Bristol Bay Campus.
• Ethnobotany, certificate (approved September 2009) offered by the College of Rural and Community Development, Kuskokwim Campus
• Indigenous Studies, Ph.D. (approved April 2009) offered by College of Liberal Arts, College of Rural and Community Development and School of Education.
