The following programs, which will be offered starting fall 2009 or spring 2010, were approved by the UA Board of Regents after the 2009-10 catalog was printed:
- Construction Management, graduate certificate (approved September 2009) offered by the College of Engineering and Mines.
- Environmental Studies, certificate (approved September 2009) offered by the College of Rural and Community Development, Bristol Bay Campus.
- Ethnobotany, certificate (approved September 2009) offered by the College of Rural and Community Development, Kuskokwim Campus
