University of Alaska’s Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC)  is looking for motivated and resilient students who are ready to serve their country.  ROTC is an add-on to your traditional college experience. The program offers rigorous leadership training and helps finance your college education, in return for your commitment to serve as an Officer in the Army after you graduate college.

What will you get out of ROTC?

  • Leadership Experience: Learn how to effectively become a leader, mastering decision-making and team-building skills that will serve you on and off the field.
  • Strength: Build mental and physical agility through challenging training that prepares you to face any obstacle with confidence.
  • Community: Join a tight-knit battalion committed to excellence and service, where camaraderie and support push everyone to strive for excellence.
  • Scholarships: Fund your education while preparing for a meaningful career, with scholarship opportunities that support your academic and military goals.
