Chancellors Advisory Committee on Native Education

Mission statement

The Chancellor's Advisory Committee on Native Education (CACNE) shall serve as an advocacy group for the Alaska Native body at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The committee shall provide guidance and advice to the Chancellor on Native issues and in the planning, monitoring and improvement of educational opportunities at the University of Alaska Fairbanks for Alaska Native students. The body will meet on a regular basis throughout the school year to discuss and make recommendations on issues and problems that affect Alaska Native education.
