A University of Alaska Fairbanks postdoctoral researcher has helped NASA better understand
two of the possible landing sites for the space agency's Artemis program to land humans
at the moon's south pole and establish a sustainable base camp there.
The Fairbanks North Star Borough School District is expanding its North Star College
program, an ongoing partnership with the University of Alaska Fairbanks that allows
students to take college courses at UAF while still in high school. The Board of Education approved the move on Oct. 18, completing the board’s original
vision for the middle college program.
