FY24 appropriations request submission form

We have begun to plan for the FY24 federal funding appropriations request. UAF is requiring that all individuals interested in submitting an appropriations request to the Congressional delegation complete an initial request through this Google form.

There are three types of appropriation requests:

Earmark: federal funding directed specifically to a UA entity for a specific project;
Plus up: federal funding add to an agency's budget with the understanding between the UA faculty and staff member and the program manger that the funding will be awarded to UA; and
Programmatic: requesting a total funding level for a specific federal program.

We highly encourage anyone submitting a request to read through the document titled Guidance on Appropriations Request Eligibility found as a link in near the top of the Google submission form.

The submission deadline for consideration of a request is Oct. 31, 2022.
