Interim director of advising announced

Earlier this spring Chancellor White asked that first-year professional advisors and their units move from the Office of the Provost to the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management effective July 1, 2024. As part of this transition, Holly McDonald will serve as interim director of advising for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management starting July 1. Learn more about McDonald's new role.


New Wood Center director starts June 17

Student Affairs is excited to announce that Josh Hovis will serve as the new Wood Center director. Before serving as associate director of recruitment and interim director of admissions at the University of Montana, Hovis served as an admissions counselor at UAF, as well as the student involvement and organizations coordinator within the Center for Student Engagement.
