Field Day showcases Fairbanks agricultural research

Spend an afternoon in the fields of the Fairbanks Experiment Farm with researchers and learn about the agriculture-related science happening at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Fairbanks Research Field Day, 2-7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, is a free educational event for farmers, community leaders and the general public. Learn more about the event.

UAF names spring 2024 honors students

The University of Alaska Fairbanks has announced the students named to the deans' and chancellor's lists for the spring 2024 semester. The lists recognize students' outstanding academic achievements. Read more about the spring student honors.

Exhibit specialist offers tips for state fair

The University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service has invited Kathy Liska, the fair's crop superintendent and a master gardener, to lead a free webinar from 6-7 p.m. on Monday, July 22, and is available statewide, on how to participate in the competitive exhibits at the Alaska State Fair, which runs Aug. 16 to Sept. 2 in Palmer.
